Little Elm ISD has once again been named one of the nation’s Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation, marking the district’s fifth consecutive year receiving this prestigious honor.

The District’s Art Show drew parents and community members Tuesday night for an inspiring evening of student creativity. The exhibition featured a wide range of artwork—including acrylics, watercolors, mixed media, photography, and sculpture—highlighting the talent and imagination of students across the District.

For the first time, College Board has selected Little Elm High School to receive the bronze AP Honor Roll and AP Access Award recognition. LEHS is one of 1,587 schools in Texas to earn the Bronze level AP School honor and one of 862 schools to earn a place for the first time in 2025.

Little Elm ISD proudly hosted its third annual District Spelling Bee, an event that continues to grow in participation and excitement each year. Students from across the district showcased their academic skills, perseverance, and confidence while competing in both English and Spanish spelling competitions.

Little Elm ISD continues to build momentum in academics, with notable gains in the latest Texas Education Agency accountability ratings. In just two years, schools across the District have shown growth, equity, and achievement that reflect the hard work of students, teachers, and staff.
